We are all sorts of folks who get together to discuss books that explore spirituality, Christianity, and anything else we choose!
We are an open and affirming small group. We celebrate diversity in race, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, age, ability, faith history, social status and family configuration. As we journey towards deeper truth and meaning through learning, questioning and fellowship, we welcome all people to join us.
We usually meet about twice a month on a Sunday afternoon/evening at member’s houses. Meetings are potluck-style, laid back and always full of lively discussion and opportunities for meeting. Childcare is often available.
Over the summer, we are taking turns selecting articles on interesting or relevant topics to share and discuss each meeting.
If you are interested in joining the book study group or just visiting to check us out, please reach out to us via our Facebook Group FUMC Old Kids Book Study where we manage all the logistics (request to be added with a message).
