Message from God’s Word:
Christ Calls Us to Sacrifice
Matthew 16: 21-28
An Observance of Holy Communion
Lord, we would follow you anywhere;
Help us not to object to the places
you have in mind.
Jesus, the cross is heavy and awkward;
Give us strength and courage to
take our cross and go your way.
Spirit, we know your inspiration is all we need;
Embolden us to reject our selfishness and trust you.
Our “Feed the Hungry” offering this week is for Family Promise of Bristol.
This program provides an opportunity for us to show God’s grace and Christ’s love to children with homeless families in the Bristol area.

Because of our very limited budget, we are requesting a resume’
and salary requirement for either position or combined positions.
In Children’s Church this Week . . .
We talked about Hannah and prayer.
There are many types of prayer both formal and informal.
You can even think a prayer and God hears you! That is a wonderful thing!
Sometimes he hears you when you don’t know how pray.
We made praying hands that looked like stained glass.
