The Children’s Wing at FUMC

Here at First Church we have a wonderful Children’s Wing that
includes infants up to 6th graders. The Children’s Wing has a lot of fun rooms such as the Bible Max Theatre, The Creation Station, The Holy Ghost Storytelling room, and the W.W.J.D room.  We have everything to meet your child’s learning needs. 

The Tweens have started working on a relief map.  They divide their time between doing research on a certain topic from the Bible and then actually mapping the topic out and creating their own vision of the story.  Below are pictures of the Tweens making the manger and a palm tree to place on the map.  This has been a wonderful learning opportunity for our children because these are hands-on activities and students are very involved in the stories they are learning about.
